DANNY WISE ... "SPIRITUAL DANDY": BRILLIANT esthete THE BEAUTIFUL AND THE SUBLIME.
The
unique cultural phenomenon of "Dandyism", which spread
during the Regency English and French Restoration, is classified as a
true "lifestyle", which manifests itself in that peculiar
intellectual attitude, whose "doctrine" is a blatant
exaltation of finesse, elegance in elevated language, in ways
gallant, noble in bearing, apparel valuable and sought after. Its

exaggerated individualism, a total nonconformity, which stands in
sharp contrast compared to preconceived ideas of contingent reality
